How long does setup take?

Can I run it only after hours?
Yes. Forward when you close. Switch to overflow or always-on later without changing products.
What if forwarding does not kick in?
Take a test call to the Elody number first so you know the receptionist is live. Then check the forward on the line you advertise. If a call still hits voicemail, the carrier is not sending it yet. We help you find that.
Will it book on my Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar so Elody can check when you're free and put the visit on that calendar during the call. Disconnect any time in the app or by emailing hello@elody.ai.
How do I disconnect Google or delete my data?
Disconnect Google Calendar in Elody, or email hello@elody.ai. You can also request deletion of your account data, including the Google connection. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Will I get a text after every call?
Yes. A text and an email with the transcript and summary when the call ends. Urgent calls also hit your on-call phone.
Does it speak Spanish?
Yes. It greets in English. If they speak Spanish, Elody continues in Spanish. Notes come back in English. Same plan.
What if it does not know the answer?
It uses the hours, services, and FAQs you enter. If it does not know, it takes a message instead of guessing a price or a promise.
